Remix Music Efficiency
Creating the perfect dance mix or cheerleading mix may not appear to be a particularly daunting task, but if the process is taken too lightly then the results can be disastrous. Having the perfect combination of current pop songs and dance remixes of popular classics is always a safe bet, but many times the music being played on most top 40 charts isn't the right kind of music for an upbeat and energetic dance or cheerleading mix.
In this day and age, with the ubiquity of computers (chances are, you're reading this article on one), more and more people are creating art digitally. Music is no different. The home studio has transformed from a mainly hardware-based structure to a virtual modular set-up. You can literally spend $0 and have the tools required to make a great techno remix.
As a music lover and virtual studio advocate, it pains me to see the vast majority of my fellow techno-heads not even try to make their own mixes, let alone create original techno or other electronic music. People must be made aware of the ease with which they can mix, remix, and compose techno, dance, or whatever style they're into. Three things are important when it comes to setting up a virtual "soft-studio" (a music studio comprised entirely of virtual instruments, mixes and sound sources).
Dance remixes of well known pop songs can work on so many levels because they not only provide energetic beats and rhythms, but they also allow the crowd or spectators to become more involved in the performance if they are more familiar with the songs that are being played.
Although a dance remix of a popular song or two is a great addition to any dance mix, the perfect mix would also include a number of remixes of classic pump up and energetic songs that can be recognized by people from all walks of life. Classic jock jams and other timeless dance or pump up songs are a surefire way to get people moving their feet and will ensure that none of the spectators or participants suffer from boredom. For a dance mix to be truly successful, it needs to inspire people to forget their inhibitions and dance as if there were no one else in the room. With enough classic dance songs and current dance mixes and remixes, this seemingly impossible feat can be accomplished.
1. Output. Using headphones can give you a great advantage when it comes to mixing something with accuracy. Mixing is basically putting instruments and drums into their respective places so everything sounds good together.
